Spoonful of Comfort Review and Giveaway

Whenever I hear chicken noodle soup, I immediately think of family.  I can't count how many times my mom would make me chicken noodle soup as a kid when I wasn't feeling well.  Or how many cold, winter afternoons we had warm chicken noodle soup for lunch.  To me, chicken noodle soup means love!

Dr. Stephen Rennard, a specialist in pulmonary medicine, has found that chicken soup can inhibit inflammation of the cells in the nasal passage which reduces the symptoms of a cold. Chicken soup has also been found to contain an amino acid that is similar to a drug used to treat some respiratory infections.

Spoonful of Comfort delivers delicious homemade chicken noodle soup, dinner rolls and even cookies to your family and friends.  Whether they are ill, homesick, or even new parents - Spoonful of Comfort will brighten their day and warm their hearts!

Their chicken noodle soup is homemade with love and only the finest ingredients: chicken stock, chicken, pasta noodles, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper and down-home comfort.  I also love the fact that everything is made fresh daily!

When my package from Spoonful of Comfort arrived, I immediately noticed the time (and thought) that was put into packaging my shipment.  Upon opening the box, I first saw a beautiful note and paper.  The presentation alone is enough to put a smile on your face.

The soup was carefully wrapped with bubble wrap, ice gel packs and an insulated bag.  Making sure that it arrives fresh and ready to heat and serve.  You can fix it immediately or keep it in the fridge for up to 3 days.

The jar of chicken noodle soup is BIG, it easily fed my family of 4.  Upon opening the jar, the aroma filled the air.  It was amazing, I could hardly wait to eat it.  The dinner rolls were so moist and delicious, we didn't even use butter on them.  The cookies were soft, moist and scrumptious!  I can easily describe this meal in one word... PERFECTION!

  19. I like that ... Our old-fashion chicken soup recipe is handmade the traditional way using all natural ingredients, no additives or preservatives. With great care, it is prepared in small batches to draw out the best flavors and ensure a superior taste that can not be matched by large scale processing.
