My mom has been a fan of Chicken Soup for the Soul books for as long as I can remember. We would always get her the newest one for her birthday and then again for Christmas. They made the perfect gift because she loves to read and the stories are so inspirational.

I think its the pull between the "childish" things you had so much fun doing and the "Im too old for that" attitude.
I think tween years are pretty awesome, but it's hard for kids to see their bodies changing and not quite know what to do with them! They are also torn between still liking their 'kid' stuff, but wanting to be more grown up.

I'm watching my preteen going through hormonal puberty changes, so right now I would have to say that!

I think the hardest thing you go through as a tween is feeling like you are grown up, but everyone looking at you like you are a child. It also seems that kids go through this phase a lot sooner now!!
