Shopping at Albertsons: $247 Worth of Groceries for FREE!

Last week I hurried into Albertsons to grab some Quaker cereal, instant oatmeal and granola bars.  They were advertised as $1.49 a box when you purchased in groups of 10.  Any combination as long as they were in multiples of 10.

As I walked up to the stack of cereal I noticed coupons on several of the boxes.  When I got closer I noticed that the coupons were for $1.00 Off the purchase of ANY two Quaker products.  Really?  I was immediately so excited and couldn't wait to fill my cart!

At the already low discounted price of $1.49 a box with the additional coupons --- that made them just $0.98 each!  

Their original prices were over $4 a box and some over $5 each.  I had been saving a $50 American Express gift card that I had earned online by completing a survey, so I had to pay nothing out of pocket.
