Camping Mama Outdoor Adventures Nintendo DS Game Review

A couple years ago for Christmas both of my kids got a Nintendo DS and a couple DS games.  Since then we have slowly been building their Nintendo DS game collection, mostly during the holidays - Christmas and birthdays.

Camping Mama for the Nintendo DS is the newest addition to their collection.  My children both love camping and playing games, so this was the perfect game for them.  I'll admit that it's a much bigger hit with my 7 year old daughter than it was with my 10 year old son.  It's not his "style" and I'm sure he won't admit it, but I think he had fun with it!

With Camping Mama my kids can enjoy their favorite summertime activity all year long.  They get to experience the fun and challenges that we do in real-life but virtually.  It's a new adventure every time they play so they never get bored.

From collecting bugs and fish, finding the hidden treasures (scavenger hunting), decorating and setting up camp, boating, hiking, building a campfire and roasting s'mores.  There are 38 different levels with 100 mini games making them perfect for children.  They are short, fun and keep your childs attention.
