Frugal Holiday Gift Giving: Spent $0, Saved $300 on Amazon - Shop Amazon's Holiday Toy List

For the past three years I have done the majority of my Christmas shopping on Amazon.  I earn and save my rewards through Swagbucks all year long and then use those credits to make my Amazon.com purchases for my kids Christmas gifts.

This year I was able to get 2 high dollar items for $0 out of pocket!  I purchased the gifts that Santa will be bringing and saved $300!  My kids are going to be so excited on Christmas morning and I can't wait to see their faces when they see what's under the Christmas tree.

My daughter is obsessed with LEGOS and my son is obsessed with the Pittsburgh Steelers and collecting sports memorabilia.

I chose the LEGO Grand Emporium for my daughter, a $150 item and a Steelers Team Signed Football with certificate of authenticity, a $159 item for my son.  Since making my purchase, the price of the football has increased to $199!

Without online rewards programs, I wouldn't be able to provide my children with items like this, I'm to cheap and frugal to spend that amount of money on a single item.  By saving and earning online for free, I'm able to provide my family with more of the things they want without having to break the bank and my spirit!

Swagbucks and Amazon help make holidays frugal, free and memorable for my family!

Be sure to Shop Amazon's Holiday Toy List this holiday season for all of your gift giving needs!

  1. I love it! This is how I shop as well, and this year Superpoints has been my big earner actually surpassing Swagbucks.

That Lego Grand Emporium looks awesome, I would love one too:)

One question, what is the rewards points thing on your receipt, do you have an Amazon card or something?

  3. That is awesome! I started using Swagbucks earlier this year and am planning on doing the same this, except on a much smaller scale as I don't have a ton of swagbucks
Hopefully next year will be better!
