PlasmaBike - Balance Bike from PlaSmart (Review & Giveaway)

Not only can learning to ride a bike be a challenge, it is also a huge milestone for every child!  I remember the excitement both of my children had the summer they learned how to ride a bike, it is a moment that we will never forget!

Learning to ride a bike is dependent on balance and coordination!  One difficult part of learning how to ride a bike is also learning out to deal with the pedals.  

Often times bike pedals get in the way and only end up causing frustration and turmoil.  PlasmaBike is the perfect solution: a bike with no pedals!

Children as young as 18 months can enjoy the freedom of riding a bike without the added complication of training wheels or anxiety of having to hold their balance too long, too early. Unlike most balance bikes, wide wheels assist children in keeping PlasmaBike upright in a stopped or stationary position, giving children added confidence and promoting self-esteem. The wide wheels and limited steering range enhance balancing capabilities and provide a smoother transition to a conventional 2 wheel ride.

I was highly impressed at just how sturdy and durable the PlasmaBike is.  In fact, my 8 and 11 year olds have been riding it up and down the hall for a couple weeks.   

**Please note that the recommended weight limit is 55 lbs!  So, even though my daughter has had fun, it is not suggested!

Another bonus for me was that there is nothing to put together - just lift it out of the box and it's ready to go. 

The PlasmaBike is too cute, short and stumpy with wide wheels.  It also has a tiny little horn that squeaks! The concept is simple, while the fun is endless!  

The PlasmaBike is lightweight and weighs less than 8 lbs, making it easy to carry and transport to the playground, grandma's house, or when the kid power fizzles out!

It is also very sleek and stylish, it reminds me a lot of my husband's Fat Cat off-round motorcycle.
