We get season passes to Silverwood Theme Park every year, have
for the past 10 years. We live just about 15 minutes away, so it makes
it the perfect summertime activity for our family. We go for a few hours and
then come home.
The carousel is just inside the main gate at the entrance of the park. From the time our kids were little (1 1/2 years old), they knew that this ride was our very last stop in the park before heading home. It made it easy to leave the park this way - no fits! Now at ages 12 and 9, we still ride the carousel once or twice before heading home - it's a tradition!

Located in beautiful North Idaho, Silverwood Theme Park has over 65 rides, slides, shows and attractions, including four roller coasters, Boulder Beach Water Park, a steam engine train, live entertainment, restaurants, and more... One admission - both parks!
Of course we love the rides and water slides, but we also love the variety of other fun activities like the magic show, train robbery on the steam engine ride, bison, and the adorable mascots; Garfield and Odie!
The amusement park includes rides and games for the entire family, young and old. For those families with younger children, you can enjoy Camp Garfield! There is a tiny tot roller coaster, tree house, Red Baron airplanes, kiddie wheel, and more...
For those older children and adults you can ride to your hearts desire. Coaster Alley may be exactly what the thrill seeker has been looking for, including Timer Terror, Aftershock, Tremors, Panic Plunge, Corkscrew and the newest addition, Spin Cycle!
Other rides include the log flume, bumper cars, bumper boats, tilt-a-whirl, antique cars, thunder canyon and an all-time favorite, the ferris wheel!

The water park is the perfect place to cool down on any hot summer day. We always start off by going down the big family tube water slides, then we hit the wave pool, then it's off to the wave pools and Polliwog kids park where there are slides, waterfalls, water squirters!
Looking back at all of the times we have gone to Silverwood Theme Park and all of the photos I have taken while we were there... we have had a lot of great times and made great family memories there!

My favorite ride Aftershock. Somehow it doesn't bash my head around and the padding keeps tall people from smashing our heads.

Tremors is the best. The way you're shaken up and down, side to side, and the rickety, clackety feel of the ride is just intense.

I have been to silverwood whe I was younger but its been so long I would very much like to return & share the experience with my family. my children have never been! & my hubby and I would also LOVE to try out the newest ride!! =) it looks exhilarating!! =) I love thrill rides. as of this moment my favorite ride would have to be tje aftershock!! but that may change if I get to try out the newest ride!! :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE Silverwood!! My favorite attractions are the water park, Thunder Canyon, the Corkscrew, Tremors and Panic Plunge!! MUST HAVES: kettle corn, caramel apples, dippin dots and huckleberry funnel cakes, YUM!! Our last trip didn't go so well, it was supposed to be sunny and 91 degrees, but it ended up being windy, rainy and in the 70's.... it was way too cold to go to the water park and it was very disappointing :( Best of luck to everyone! tornado1974@hotmail.com
I have been to silverwood years ago! but now I have a family & I want to share the experience with my hubby and children! :) I have twin girls who would just LOVE to try out some rides and check out boulder beach! my favorite ride would have to be aftershock but who knows maybe it could be spin cycle!?! I love going to scarywood and riding on the train. The haunted atmosphere of scarywood is great fun. I would love it if Silverwood was open in Dec and decorated for the holidays.

We haven't been back to Silverwood as a family since our youngest was 2 yrs. old and he is now 13yrs. old. I've been to Scareywood several times and absolutely love it. We spent our honeymoon at Silverwood and we just celebrated our 14th year together so what a better way to spend our anniversary but at Silverwood Theme Park.

Our favorite ride or attraction is the big six person raft - not sure what you call it.

We would love to take our 5 boys to Silverwood! We have all boys ages 19, 17, 12, 8, and 1. We love the lazy river and of course the boys like the wave pool and the water slides. It's been a few years since we have gone so it would be a refreshing vacation for us.

The rollercoasters are always great, but the droptower has to be my favorite for the adrenaline rush.

I have been going to Silverwood since the day I took a Biplane ride in the begining.
Silverwood brings back GREAT memories when I was a kid! and I want to make new ones with my kiddos! I loved the log ride and thunder canyon! The water park would be fun!

We went to visit my brother in Coeur d'Alene a few years ago, I guess it was closer to 8, and we visited Silverwood. It was an enjoyable experience. We enjoyed the Boulder Beach, but then water parks are always fun.
I love the waterpark and the bumper boats. I can't wait to take my granddaughter!
