Nutrisystem’s My Way Plan ~ My Biggest Challenge! (Week 4, 5 & 6 Results)

In exchange for participating in the Nutrisystem #NSNation Blogger Program, I will receive the Nutrisystem My Way program, free of charge, which includes food and support services for three consecutive months.  All opinions are my own.

Losing weight and getting healthy isn't only about diet and exercise.  It is also about facing temptations and learning how to make the right choices.  I work at an elementary school and every Monday is "Teacher Treat Day" and the teacher's lounge is over-flowing with goodies from parents.

Temptation is my biggest challenge!  At home it is easy for me to eliminate temptation by simply not purchasing it at the store.  If I don't buy it, it's not there for me eat.  However, at work it's a different scenario.

Cookies, brownies, Costco jumbo muffins, cake, cinnamon rolls, and other sweet treats are among the most popular treats that are brought in.  Rarely do we see fresh fruit or veggie trays grace us with their presence.

As much as I love sweets, I've simply been walking away!  I've been packing smart snack choices with me every morning.  A banana, a handful of almonds, an apple with a little peanut butter, yogurt... these are my sweet treats now!

"The trick is to learn how to maneuver around the minefield of tempting treats to find what works best with your diet." ~ Nutrisystem

During weeks 4, 5 and 6 on the Nutrisystem program, I lost... 3.5 pounds and 4 inches.

  • Week 1: -4.6 pounds
  • Week 2: -0.6 pounds
  •  Week 3: -1 pound
  • Week 4: -0
  • Week 5: -2.2 pounds
  • Week 6: -1.3 pounds

That brings my total weight loss to 9.7 pounds! I'm so close to reaching the half way point of my weight loss goal!
