The table is filled from one end to the other with temptations. Turkey, ham, potatoes and gravy, stuffing, homemade rolls, jello dream salad, crackers and dip, and lets not forget my "go to" this year... a veggie tray. Then, lets not forget dessert!
I made the decision to eat Thanksgiving dinner with everyone else, and do my best to practice portion control and making smart choices! Instead of piling my plate high with everything - I ate a little bit of everything instead. I enjoyed only one plate of dinner and didn't go back for seconds.
For dessert, I ate only one small piece of pie, instead of my usual Thanksgiving routine, where I would eat one piece of every different kind of pie and dessert!
During week 10 on the Nutrisystem program, I lost... 0 pounds. I didn't gain any weight over Thanksgiving this year, so that is a success for me!
- Week 1: -4.6 pounds
- Week 2: -0.6 pounds
- Week 3: -1 pound
- Week 4: -0
- Week 5: -2.2 pounds
- Week 6: -1.3 pounds
- Week 7: - 1 pound
- Week 8: -1.1 pounds
- Week 9: -0.5 pounds
- Week 10: -0 pounds
That keeps my total weight loss at 12.2 pounds!
I was hoping to reach my weight loss goal of 20 pounds by the New Year... I'm not giving up and I'm not backing down! Even if it takes me a little longer to reach my goal - I'm going to get there!
